My Story

Hi, friends!

I’ve spent most of my life raising small people into bigger people—children who, I hope, are now contributing to the world in meaningful ways. I’ve had the joy (and occasional chaos!) of doing this alongside my incredibly patient husband of nearly 40 years. Today, three of our children are married, our youngest is in college, and we’re blessed with four wonderful grandchildren.

In 2016, life threw me a curveball: I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Like most people, I never expected such news—especially after years of healthy eating, regular exercise, and no family history. During the long stretch of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, I had a lot of questions for God. While I had always considered myself spiritual, that season of life deepened my faith in ways I never could have imagined. In fact, the journey led me to seminary—enrollment came even before treatment ended.

Several years (and a very slow-and-steady pace) later, I graduated with a Master of Divinity.

Along the way, I needed a creative outlet to share both my life experiences and the insights gained through my education. A blog became the first step. Then came the idea of interviewing everyday people doing extraordinary things with the time they’ve been given—and just like that, the Lessons From Living podcast was born.

The heart of this podcast is simple: to inspire. And I hope that’s exactly what it does for you.

I’d love to hear your story. My readers and listeners mean the world to me. I want to know what matters most to you—and what you’re navigating in life right now. So please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Let’s keep learning from each other.

In His love and mine,

Beth Graham
